Girls Coaches Clinic
Hereford Rec Coaches Clinic run by Hereford High Girl's Lax Varsity Coach, Anne Ensor.
Tuesday, Feb 19th, 8:00 – 9:30pm at Four Seasons Indoor Complex.
Anne Ensor will go over the latest coaching concepts, drills and techniques to further your development as a coach. There will be demonstrations by Hereford players and a Q & A session to go over your specific questions. This event is open to all Hereford Rec Girl’s Lax Coaches and Parents. Coaches Meeting - February 26th
On February 26, at the Hereford High School Cafeteria, from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, all coaches (boys and girls) are invited to our Annual Coaches Meeting. This year, Sue Heether, owner of Sports Her Way, and coach of the Women's U-19 National Team will speak to us. Please put this on your calendar if you wish to coach or help out on your son or daughters' team this spring.
Spring 2008 LAX Evaluation Schedule
Evaluations for 2008 spring lacrosse will be held in January and February at the Four Seasons Sports Complex. Schedule is below, and also available here in PDF format.
Note that Girls Tyker A is being held at Owings Mills Sportsplex
Note: given the time constraints, it is extremely important that everyone arrives 30 minutes prior to their start time!! Be on the field and ready to go, not walking in the door at your start time!!

Outdoor Registration Spring 2008 Is Underway!
Registration for the outdoor season is now underway. Online and mail in registration deadline is December 31st. Please register early!
Existing players with valid email addresses should check their mailbox for links to online registration. Please see registration page for details.
Hereford Lax Day Raffle
With the unfortunate cancellation of Hereford Lax Day on May 10th, we've worked out alternate arrangements for conducting the raffle that we had planned. You have 2 options for turning in your raffle tickets: either (1) drop them off at Genesee Valley this coming weekend or (2) mail them in. Drawings will be held on Wednesday, May 21st.
Ticket Buyers – we will be setting up a table at Genesee Valley this weekend during the times below. It will be located under a blue tent adjacent to the parking lot in front of Fields 1 & 2. At these times, you can come by and put your tickets into the raffle bags for those items that you are interested in. Alternately, a designated person (e.g. Team Parent), can collect the team's tickets and drop them off (make sure your name, number and chosen raffle, e.g. Girl's Bike, is indicated on each ticket, see list of prizes below).
- Saturday, 5/17 10AM – 12 Noon
- Sunday, 5/18 12 Noon – 2PM
We will also be selling tickets at these times. So, if you haven't bought any yet, this is your final opportunity to do so; and, if you've already bought tickets, feel free to buy more! In addition, we will also be selling Hereford Spirit Wear, so take this opportunity to also place your Spirit Wear orders!
If unable to make it to Genesee Valley during one of these times, please drop your tickets in an envelope and mail them to the following address. Mark on each ticket which raffle you would like that ticket to be entered into (e.g. Girl's bike). Also, make sure you include your name and phone number. We must receive your tickets by Wednesday, May 21st.

Hereford LAX Day - Saturday, May 10th at Genesee Valley
Cancelled Due To Rain
Mark you calendars! The Hereford Lacrosse Youth Program presents the "Hereford Lax Day" fundraiser at Genesee Valley, Saturday, May 10th. On that day, all of our Boys and Girls Teams, Tykers through Juniors, will be playing at Genesee Valley.
Brine and Warrior Sports, Charm City Run, and Hereford Spirit Wear will be on hand with giveaways, games and demos. Food concessions will be provided by Dunkin Donuts, Charcoal Deli pit beef, Chick-Fil-a and Rita's.
We'll be raffling lacrosse sticks, bags, goals, a backdrop, a girl’s bicycle, Spirit Wear, gift certificates and much more! All proceeds from this event will go to our lacrosse general fund to pay for equipment, education and other expenses. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10 and can be purchased from your Team Parents in advance of the event; they will also be available during the day of the event. The raffle will be at 3:30.
So come hang out before and after your game at Genesee Valley ... and bring some extra cash to support our program!

Sunday, April 20th, 9 – 1pm (registration begins at 8:30) at Genesee Valley
Open to girls level tyker – junior (a $15 donation per player is requested)

Updated 4/10/2008Hereford Boys Lacrosse Skills Clinic at Genesee Valley
Sunday, April 27th, 2008, from 8:30 AM to 1:00PM, at Genesee Valley, the Hereford High School varsity boys lacrosse players will conduct clinics for our rec boys, ages Tyker through Junior.
Brian King and the Hereford High School boys will teach the latest techniques and drills.
Registration times will begin at:
- 8:00AM Boys Lightening, midgets and tykers session 8:30-10-:30
- 10:30AM Boys Juniors Register session 11:00-1:00
Registration will be on the field. A donation of $15 is requested.
